The sentence On July 20th the Florida man was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison as his parents would not press charges against him for the expensive burned chair and other items. He was charged for destruction of property, as charged by the police and charged for damages to the adjacent properties where the fire burned away, as fences had also taken light. The Florida man’s father commented “I would offer to pay for these damages, but when I moved here no one offered to pay for me to get out of trouble, I served 12 months for stealing apples”.
